Consult the latest information on the Covid, currently the covid pass is not necessary to enter and exit Peru.

- Mosquitoes: There are mosquitoes, but the bites are bearable. Bring an anti-mosquito cream or bracelets. Also in the community store you can buy incense that repels mosquitoes. It is advisable to bring a mosquito net for the bed.

- Clothes: You do not need to buy special clothes. Short-sleeved shirts, light long-sleeved shirts, short and long trousers, a sweatshirt or sweater, a towel, a coat, a swimsuit, boots / sneakers and flip-flops . 

​

- Hygienic products: Hand sanitaser, toilet paper, tissues and shampoo. If you forget something, don't worry, you can buy it in the community store. Also for your peace of mind, you can bring pills against headache / stomach ache / diarrhea.

​

- Drinks: All the water that you are going to drink during your stay at Wasan Yaka is bottled. Also if you want Coca Cola, Inka Cola or other drinks, you can find them in the store.

​

- Diet. One week before coming:

* Do not consume alcohol or any type of drug 

* Do not eat red meat

* Do not drink fizzy drinks

* You can only smoke natural tobacco, mapacho.

* Increase consumption of fruits and vegetables.

-Technology: Bringing a power bank can be useful to always have charge in your electronic devices. Also for the plane trip, if you wear headphones with a 3.5mm jack, you can watch the movies for free.

​

- Money: Bring Soles ( the Peruvian money) in cash to buy at the store. You can also buy Shipibo products (dresses, necklaces, bracelets...) and thus, help the community of Puerto Nuevo.
