The ceremony is directed by the renowned Maestra Asencia who has more than 30 years of experience in healing with the master plant. She will have the help of her sons, Maestro Wilmer and Maestro Santos for the welfare and care of the members of the ceremony.
It is important to note that the Maestra Asencia treats each person individually in the ceremony. Depending on the person's needs and goals, Maestra Asencia chants a personalized icaro to heal and achieve what is desired, what is wanted by the person.
In addition to the songs, the icaros are complemented with other ritual actions to improve their effects. Mapacho (Amazonian sacred tobacco) and Florida water are used to dispel negative energies.
The ceremony takes place in the Wasan Yaka maloca, the ceremonial hut. The maximum number of participants per ceremony is 8 and the other son of Asencia, Juan, takes care of the welfare of the people at all times so that they have everything they need during the ceremony.
